Children's book illustrator and fantasy artist

I work as a children's book illustrator creating art for the children's picture book, chapter book, young adult and educational markets.

I also illustrate images for adults with styles in the Art Nouveau and fantasy fiction genres.

I've provided illustration for projects ranging from children’s books and advertising to print and product art licensing. Commissions for juvenile and fantasy illustration are welcome. Just send an email with your request, your budget and your time frame via the convenient email form located on the contact page.

A transplanted New Yorker now living in Missouri, I've been working as an illustrator for 25+ years.

My love affair with art and illustration began at an early age. One of the earliest memories I have is of sitting with a pile of crayons and papers strewn around me proclaiming to my parents that someday everyone in the world would be looking at my art. In spite of my parents’ attempts to steer me toward a more practical choice, I've never wanted to do anything else.

So, I followed my heart and earned a degree in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology, then continued my art education at the School of Visual Arts, earning a B.F.A. in Graphic Design. These disciplines can still be seen in my work as a children's book illustrator and fantasy artist in the strong lines, textures and detailed patterns.
