It’s been one of those weeks where I am so busy I don’t have time to do anything. Well, that’s not entirely right. I DID manage to finish all the things on my Monday to-do list by Wednesday.

Thursday was eaten up by hours on the road. A forty-five minute trip now takes me double that because there is road construction every ten miles or so. Four lanes go down to one and then there is a flagger with a sign telling drivers to be slow. I honestly don’t know why the sign is needed since according to my speedometer I was going lass then 2mph most of the way through the construction zone.

Long story short, my 3 hour trip yesterday lasted longer than five. And by the time I got back to the studio I was too bushed and too annoyed to do much of anything but answer a few emails. Let’s hope things go better next month for my visit. I would hate to have to do this all over again AND deal with rush hour traffic.

Up today is yet another trip into the city. And I have one more on Monday as well. I plan to bring my laptop with me. Maybe I can get a few hundred words added to my WIP while I sit in waiting rooms. One can always hope anyway.
