It’s been a strange month. Lots going on of a personal nature, not much art related though.

I decided I missed doing my daily doodle, but since the challenge was for a year and ended in June, I have to come up with another challenge.

My crit group was discussing how all of us have a hard time drawing ‘scary’ creatures. I decided I want to have some fun and goof off by drawing creatures. This little guy is not of the scary variety by anyone’s standards, but we’ll see if I can’t get out of my comfort zone and get some adrenaline pumping.

If not, I might just start drinking my husband’s dark roast coffee and let the caffeine rush bounce me off the walls.

We had the first snow flurries on our way home from the MIL’s house. Nothing stuck, but it was nice to see the snow.
