I spent most of Saturday running around doing errands.
Took the cat to the vet for his annual check up. He’s still mad at me. Also procured a tree and decorated it for the MIL. I remember the tree decoration being a lot more fun when I was younger, now it’s just one more chore and thing I gotta do.
Sunday I spent most of the day cooking. I cooked for hours for our annual family feast get together. I like to have all the assort children, spouses and children together once a year. Sadly, my grand daughter is ill and that portion of the family couldn’t come. Seeing as it was really cold and a fresh layer of snow all over the roads, I’m pleased the other children didn’t also cancel.
I made a complete turkey dinner with all the trimmings. All of it wheat free for me and son the first’s wife. All the adult children stuffed themselves silly and moaned and groaned afterward. The teen only ate mashed taters and macaroni salad. I opted not to nag her to eat some protein with her starch. The battle wasn’t worth the mouthful of meat she would have grudgingly eaten.
With all the house cleaning and prep for cooking, cooking, clean up after and the meal itself, I didn’t have time to scan in my creatures. But I did sit down each morning and do my daily doodle. Here they are.
