I am trying to draw more people. Drawing from a photo is much easier, the subject never moves!
I have to be fast to get these sketches down as the people are unaware of my interest in them. I am actually quite shy about drawing in a public setting and tend to want to hide in dark corners away from everybody. Of course, this is counter productive since if I am away from everyone, I can’t observe them to sribble the doodles down!
The is no doodle for the 18th because I spent a few hours out in the garden weeding. I wore gloves to protect my hands but in spite of that my finger tips were numb and sore the rest of the day. So I didn’t sketch or write anything! The gardne looks much less disreputable, though.
Hey Wendy– Your daily doodle project is really impressive — not just to do it but also post all your doodles (I have this really loud inner voice that is super critical!)
Like you I need to draw more people, but feel quite shy about drawing in public. Something else that I enjoy doing is sketching animals at the park, zoo, but again feel very self conscious if people notice me.
Hope your fingers are better!
