The last couple of lessons had to do with combining previous doodles. In the doodle for the 9th I combined the balloon people, the rock pile and the wave function.
When doodling for the 10th, I tried out more shorthand for people. this time I did squiggled silhouttes. I drew several people waiting at a bus stop. Or they could be waiting to cross the street. Who knows, they are all just standing there.
The new lessons move from scribbling stuff to actual drawing from real life. The first one has doodles of many people. So I will have to venture out into the world somewhere to find observable people. Bread Co, maybe. Or perhaps I can sneak in some doodling at the Writers meeting I am going to check out in about 5 minutes. I hope it’s a tad better than I remember it. Still, I feel the need to be among people as I have spent the majority of the last week by myself with no one to talk to but the cats. Since my DH has to work today, and the kid is at a birthday party all afternoon, I figured this was a good place to start. After all, I am interested in writing. 😉
Maybe a good doodle will emerge!
