Top Picks:
All by Myself: Baby Elephant wants to pick his own leaves for lunch. He tries a kinds of things but he’s just too little. Finally, Mama Elephant gives him a hand. The artwork in this book was delightful.
Katie Loves the Kittens: New pets in the house, and Katie is too exited. All ends well.

The Girl Who Spun Gold: Another incarnation of the Rumplestiltskin fairy tale.
Every Little Thing: There’s more story in the art than the text.
A Big Cheese for the White House: a fiction book about a historical event.
Stellaluna: An old favorite I never read. Another take on the “I love me” story.
Silly Tilly: just like the title says – silly. The art is fun.
Fly Free: A story about the Buddhist idea of kharma. A bit on the preachy side for my tastes. Nice watercolor on wood grain illustrations.

I also read 2 other books at the book store, but had no way to record what I’d read and now I can’t recall. One was a “mommy loves you so much” type book, and the other was some sort of animals having fun book. I wish I could remember the titles.
